If life is one long breath
and we get only one
moment
to exhale
and
only one moment
to
inhale,
can you
live
desperately enough
to make
the in-between
matter?

I liked this for it makes me really think? Do the small things REALLY matter? IF you only have two moments--what would they be? Would the petty things, the things you bicker and fight over, the stress and things that make you crazy--it's all just pointless in the end. We are here to love, be loved, show love--we chose each other for a reason. Why, tear apart the very foundation that brought us together--that we spent hours on the phone finding--that we said ' yes, THIS is what matters'? That states were left for and that we have bled for time and time again?
ReplyDeleteScars may leave a trace but they can fade in time and battlefields can be walked away from--hearts can mend.
That middle area is life but if we had two moments--how would we live them? Would we cherish and love? Would we scar and maim? Or would we laugh and rest in knowing no matter what happens we have each other and that is a GOOD thing?
